TEADEC web site is now being hosted on a new computer. Until the dust settles, so to speak, BBS needs to be closed down temporarily. We will ask the former subscribers of BBS to re-subscribe when it is operational again. Some links may not work during the next few weeks. Thank you for your patience.

Institute for Infocomm Research

Wireless Sensor Networks Lab of the Institute for Infocomm Research (I²R) has been involved in the research and development of large scale deployment of scalable, energy efficient, self-organizing, self-healing, and resource limited collaborative wireless sensor networks. As part of its applied research effort, it is exploring the use of T-Engine/T-Kernel as the platform for sensor networks.

The collaboration between Renesas System Solutions (RSS), Institute for Infocomm Research and Republic Polytechnic Singapore (RP), is to demonstrate how a collaborative sensor network can be developed and deployed using T-Engine. The collaborative sensor network is capable of detecting events and forwarding the collected information to interested sinks, which can be used to facilitate system monitoring and control.

The team from I²R includes:

  • Dr Yeo Boon Sain (Principle Investigator)
  • Ms Ge Yu
  • Miss Yao Qi
  • Mr Wong Kim Sing
  • Mr Tan Seng Kee
